In July of this year, Head of the “Prof.A. Kliševičius School of Calligraphy and Lettering Art” Rūta Jakštonienė went to a meeting with the Head of the oldest and largest calligraphy school, which has branches in several cities in Poland, Mr. Grzegorz Barasinski.
During the meeting were discussed perspectives of mutual creative cooperation and Mrs. G. Barasinski’s visit to Klaipėda in September next year.
Another meeting was held in Finland. The meeting was organized at the invitation of the partners of the Prof. A. Kliševičius School of Calligraphy and Lettering Art, the Finnish Calligraphy Society. Were discussed plans for further mutual creative cooperation as well as the creative workshop of calligrapher Pauliina Yliniitty in Klaipėda in September this year.
Both visits of the Head of the “Prof. A. Kliševičius School of Calligraphy and Letting Art” were held after receiving an Educational Scholarship awarded by the Lithuanian Council For Culture.
